For me, I have felt stalled ...I know what you mean! For me, I have felt stalled (not so much stale, yet) about my writing. I have been pulled to a new story that I am still sort of "giving birth too" and still have holes to fill about. And then also pulled to older projects I would love to breathe new life too. But like you, I have a few (new) short stories I would like to work on...so I am torn and I am feeling like I'm on pause as a result.
